Advocacy does not begin and end with Lobby Day. We encourage members to build and maintain relationships with legislators throughout the year. Consider connecting with representatives in your district, inviting fellow hygienists to join, and meeting informally over coffee to discuss key issues impacting our profession and the patients we serve.
Additionally, we encourage you to support our advocacy efforts by contributing to the MDHA Political Action Committee. Your involvement helps ensure our profession has a strong and consistent voice at the Capitol.
